About The Club
Our group of miniature enthusiasts create all manner of things in 1:12 scale, from big projects like dollhouses, shop fronts and room boxes to all the various items that fill these pieces such as furniture, furnishings and just about any item you can think of using all manner of mediums like wood, fabric, metal, modelling clay and paint.
Ipswich Mini Crafters use anything we can lay our hands on! We recycle all manner of things. We do buy some items, but on average we prefer to re-use and recycle, which keeps our hobby costs very low. We endeavour to make all our work by hand from scratch so as to keep it a very inexpensive hobby. This has the added benefit of ensuring our results are unique, to ourselves.
Ipswich Mini Crafters which was established in 1990, currently meets 7.00pm every Wednesday night @ the Old Ipswich Courthouse, Cnr. East And Roderick St's, Ipswich, Queensland, Australia.
All levels of skill are catered for, from beginner to expert.
