​Crafting Big Dreams in Every Scale Since 1990

From our beginnings as Karalee Mini Crafters, then Ipswich Mini Crafters, we are proud to now be the Ipswich Miniature Craft Shed. For over 30 years, our community of enthusiasts has been shrinking the world down to size with passion and precision.

While our group primarily focuses on the classic 1:12 scale, we warmly welcome enthusiasts of all scales - from grand 1:6 displays to the tiniest 1:144 "dollhouse-for-a-dollhouse" projects. Whether it’s a grand manor, a detailed shop front, or a cozy room box, we bring them to life with handmade furniture and intricate furnishings. Our members work with every medium imaginable - from wood and metal to fabric, modelling clay, and paint.

Our Philosophy: If we can find it, we can use it!

We believe miniatures shouldn't cost a fortune. We are avid recyclers, preferring to repurpose everyday items rather than buy them. By making almost everything by hand from scratch, we keep our hobby affordable and ensure that every single piece we create is a one-of-a-kind original.
